The Y709 is a ZCG Scalar 9-element 4G LTE Yagi antenna engineered for high-gain directional performance across the 698-800 MHz cellular band. Delivering 9 dBd gain in a compact 1.04 m square boom aluminium design, this antenna is optimised for improving LTE signal strength, extending coverage range, and enhancing data stability in fringe and low-signal environments. Designed for lower-band 4G LTE applications, the Y709 provides focused directional performance for mobile broadband, fixed wireless access, telemetry systems, and remote communications where reliable signal acquisition is essential. Its Yagi configuration allows precise targeting of cellular base stations, improving received signal strength while reducing interference from unwanted directions. The square boom construction provides excellent mechanical rigidity and consistent element alignment, ensuring stable RF performance in long-term outdoor installations. The antenna supports flexible polarisation configurations, allowing installation in either horizontal or vertical orientation using an A48 right-angle clamp. For +45° or -45° slant polarisation, an A48-AM angled mount clamp is recommended to achieve optimal alignment and system performance. For advanced deployments, multiple Y709 antennas can be configured in array formations to increase system gain and improve directional focus. When deployed in +45° and -45° orientations, dual antennas can be phased using an appropriate harness to create an ?X-polarised? LTE configuration, improving link stability and throughput in challenging RF environments. Supplied with a 100 mm coaxial pigtail and N-type female connector, the Y709 integrates easily into LTE modem and wireless infrastructure systems.
