The ZM108A 27 MHz ground independent mast mount or side mount antenna is suitable for marine radio communications in either a fixed position land based location or mounted at the highest point on large vessel, such as a cruise ship or ferry. ZCG recommend mounting the ZM108A as high as possible with minimal to no obstructions to ensure a true omnidirectional signal pattern. Close mounting of antennas will cause passive coupling or nulls which will greatly impact your communications system. ZCG recommend all exposed terminations be water/dust ingression protected using amalgamation butyl rubber tape and a top layer of uPVC tape.
