The GID-1417 is a broadband VHF high band mopole whip antenna, suitable for broadband VHF high band 148-174 MHz communications utilised in systems for emergency services communications, civilian VHF CB radio communications or military comms. The GID-1417 broadband VHF mopole antenna requires a UHF female SO-239 terminated base such as the RA-4.7 right-angle UHF female terminated cable base or MGB-UHF magnetic base. Mount the GID-1417 broadband VHF high-band whip antenna as high as practical and safe on your vehicle or structure to ensure a true omnidirectional signal path.
