The A-8574 is a single roll of self-fusing or self-amalgamating electrical insulating butyl rubber tape, suitable for cable splicing, connector terminations, or any RF installation waterproofing requirements. A-8574 should be covered with at minimum a single layer of UV stabilised PVC tape over the complete run of amalgamation tape extending past the start/end of your butyl rubber to ensure complete waterproofing and protection. ZCG recommend all terminations ranging from 4WD/Boat installations through to high powered broadcast terminations be waterproof/dust-resistant sealed to ensure the longevity of your system.
